Brain Boosters
Have you been feeling rather dull lately? Do you feel like your brain does not function as well as it did before? Maybe you’re just missing out on some certain foods, causing your brain to feel useless.

Generally, foods that are high in omega-3 fatty acids (such as salmon) and antioxidants help your brain function better. However, do you know that there are foods that might give you more energy to start the day? Here are two: Blueberries – Blueberries are high in antioxidants, and they are very nutritious. While your brain feels like it is working out, you could enjoy a batch of delicious blueberries. The sweetness (natural sugar) in blueberries can also help you build a stronger mind to start your day.

Milk – Do you know milk is a great source of protein, vitamin D, calcium, and phosphorus? In order to start the day properly, you might want to grab a glass of milk to enhance your thinking ability throughout the day as you eat breakfast.

Like mentioned earlier, foods that are high in omega-3 fatty acids could boost your brainpower. Omega-3 fats are essential to the process of creating the myelin sheath that protects our nerve cells. (The myelin sheath also helps quicken the rate of which our nerve cells send messages, hence faster reaction time.) Some foods that are high in omega-3 fats are: salmon, nuts, and perilla seeds. So, make sure to include some foods that contain omega-3 fats in your meal.

Be sure to eat many fruits and vegetables before you set off to work in the morning because they are high in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Fruits and vegetables are good snack replacements for the usual fried chips with 8 grams of fat per serving. If you’re feeling hungry, crunch down a few fruits or vegetables, and your brain will feel powerful.

Finally, yet importantly, be sure you drink a lot of water. Not only does water power your day, but water also keeps your skin in good condition. Water is essential for a proper digestion and intestinal function. Make sure that you drink lots of water daily.
